Zest can rear livestock on his farm. They provide unique Ingredients, and can be butchered for meat.
All animals needs to be summoned with a specific Summoner Building using a Sacrificial Substitute. Farm animals will drop Ingredients as long as they're well fed by filling their Feeder with Feeds. As the game progresses these blueprints will be unlocked in the magic shop.
Farm animals must be contained behind Fences and Gates, lest they wander around and destroy crops. You can make them follow you using the Ancient Taming Device. Livestock can be butchered for meat using the Slaughterhouse. Only fully fed animals can be slaughtered. If the animals are hungry for a prolonged time, they will just disappear from the farm.
Animals[]
Cow[]
Cows are the first farm animals you will unlock. They will automatically be available as soon as Zest is able to enter the Mystic Emporium for the first time. The shop will have the blueprints for the Feeder, Summoner, and also Sacrificial Substitutes to buy. Cows will drop milk as long as they're kept fed.
Building the Feeders and making the Cow Feed require a Sawmill and a Windmill.
Pangun[]
Pangun are chicken-like birds that are unlocked as you progress in the main story quest. Once you're challenged by Chef Bolton, it will unlock the series of quests that will unlock the Pangun. After completing the series of quests, you will be given a Pangun egg which you can take to the Mystic Emporium. By this point, the Mystic Emporium should be re-re-opened. Take the egg to Pillius in the basement of the newly restored Mystic Emporium. He will unlock the blueprints for the feeder, summoner, and potion which means that it is now available in the Mystic Emporium for purchase.
Pangun meat is the most cost efficient one to produce compared to the other animals, which is why it's best used to produce Dragon Eggs.
Unicorn[]
Unicorns are mythical beasts first unlocked by finding Fossilized Poop in the Deep Forest Zone and bringing it to the Infinigon in the Magic Emporium Basement. You will be given the blueprints for constructing the Unicorn summoner. You will have to purchase the Feeder from the Magic Emporium. Unicorns are most valued not for their mystical horns, which are made of mostly keratin- but instead their excrement, Unicorn Delight.
Spider[]
Following the main quest, Spiders will be unlocked after the restaurant reaches a Prestige Score of 30+ and Zest goes to the festival.
Gomera[]
Gomera can be unlocked after completion of all side quests given by The Witches in the Deep Forest. After witch barrier is removed you can acquire Gomera egg in the Deep Forest, you can find the egg if you go left at the arrow sign pointing to the right.
Dragon[]
Following the main quest, the Dragon will be unlocked after the restaurant reaches a a Prestige score of 40+ and Zest goes to challenge the Festumancers. Unlike the other farm animals, Zest can't really keep the Dragon on his farm, nor can it be slaughtered. Instead, he can summon it by interacting with the statue on the Dragon Nest. In exchange for 12 pieces of any meat the Dragon drops a Dragon Egg. The most cost efficient meat to use as sacrifice is Pangun meat.
Bug: surprisingly, the Dragon Nest can also be filled with Cow Feed, which makes this the cheapest option. This is likely a bug, as no other animal feeds can be used to summon the Dragon.
